Don's biography
Representative Don Hill: Meet Don
Don Hill is a 4th generation Kansan, born and raised in Smith Center. After graduating from Smith Center High School in 1965, he attended Kansas State University majoring in pre-pharmacy and business administration. Don transferred to the University of Kansas and graduated in 1971 from Pharmacy School. An Army ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate, Don went on active duty for training in the Medical Service Corps, later serving in the Kansas National Guard and spending time as a reservist. Don was honorably discharged in 1980 as a Captain.

Don and Robbie Brewer met at K-State and were married on June 7, 1969 in the First Baptist Church in Parsons. Robbie is a native of Parsons and is a KSU Elementary Education graduate. She also has her Master’s degree from Emporia State University in Elementary Counseling. Robbie is a career educator and is now a Counselor at William Allen White Elementary.

The Hills are active in the First United Methodist Church where they have worshipped for more than 25 years.  Both Don and Robbie have had various leadership roles in the church. 
Don
is a long-time member of the sanctuary choir which he enjoys very much.
